That may well be Birmingham? I'm sure I can see the Rotunda peeping in the background. I actually like the nearer building, though the rearward one looks like a fruit juice carton

Its far too small to be certain but it looks like you have a halo around the buildings.

Yes it is Birmingham Chris,not the nicest place to visit these days,many of its character buildings with so much craftmanship have either been demolished or turned into alternative use,and its all in the name of mass produced rubbish which are completely faceless to me.

Interesting responses - to my eyes, the nearer of the two buildings is quite imaginative and far superior to the awful tower blocks of the 60s and 70s. Offset windows, rounded edges, offset balconies, contrast of light and dark ... all in all, I could have lived there in the days when I had a choice. Mind you, it might look far worse in colour...
