Cracking shot John you did well to hold the camera steady ;-)....I haven't seen them mating before, so quite jealous you got this shot lol

​I didn't really have a problem holding the camera steady at 1/200th sec Mitch! The only problem I had was it was very windy and I had to take quite a few shots in order to get a decent one, I had plenty of time as the butterflies didn't look like they were going to fly off any time soon. Instead of taking my Canon 60D I decided to give my old Canon 400D an outing, it's actually an American version of the 400D called the Rebel XTi ... I don't use it very often but it's not worth much if I sold it so I'll keep it.
