Hi Folks,

 

Some of the birds in the garden seem used to having us around and are comfortable enough to go to the bird bath so I thought it a good time to take some shots. I had some bigger problems with blown highlights in other shots but didn't think the one below came out too badly, although I know it's not perfect and it's a crop so reduced quality. I'm hoping I may get some photos of other birds over the coming days but will have to see. I took a few of a female Chaffinch also today but the exposure isn't good enough to post.

Thank you for the lovely feedback folks. :)

I got out at the same time yesterday to try and get some more shots and took a photo of what I think is a Dunnock, although unfortunately there are some blown highlights as the sun made the exposure tricky. Here it is (another crop):
