I think that you caught the moment perfectly Fuji...but removing the background and replacing it with a plain white one just does not work..there is no context and maybe why no one else has commented..just a suggestion , if you want to digitaly manipulate it how about a bit of fantasy of being blown away by the gale.

 

A quick and dirty  (the low res image was not much good for manipulating) idea for your consideration. a sky and a little bit of motion blur. ;)

Thanks Paul.....

But I have no idea about how to replace a background cleanly and seamlessly.

It took me an absolute age to rid the original of, shops, vehicles, lamp posts and other pedestrians.......I try painting dark or new backgrounds in, but never as neatly as they aught to be.

The lasso tool, or the magic wand, never seem to go where I want them to.

I quite like the white BG......The pic looks amazing printed on my expensive heavy Watercolour archive paper.
