From today's walk...

Walking today on the western edge of the Forest of Bowland in central Lancashire.

The fell framed by the dead tree is known locally as Parlick, but its Sunday name is Parlick Pike.

I think this might have a re-edit before it makes its way to Flickr - but now it's time for German beer, Chinese food and an American film.

Very nice image indeed Korky!  If I could make personal comment the branches against the blue sky look to sharp compared to the rest of the image which is already sharp enough. As someone who loves sharp images I can't believe I'm saying this.:)

Thanks, Paul. Yes, that's the bit of the image that I'm not too happy with.

To be honest, I've no idea what went wrong, I think the thing to do is re-edit from the beginning and pay more attention to those branches.

I've got to make it work as I almost fell in a stream getting into a good position to take the photograph!
