Experimenting with what my other DIY lens will do gives endless pleasure, even though it has an incredibly shallow Depth of Field.

The challenge is to hit the right focus point fr best effect.

I just made it to the compound eyes here.

A rather Arty study of a Shield Bug/Stink Bug.

Nicely captured Fuj.  Your garden must be a veritable insect zoo.

Thank you John,

Unless regularly dosed with insecticide, every garden is a veritable zoo of insects, bugs, spiders and invertebrates .....they just take a little seeking out....

‘My neighbours are often taken by the way I appear to be just staring at a particular shrub, tree or plant..... standing still and REALLY looking is the only way.

This leaf-green stink-bug was hiding from cooling temperatures inside a curling leaf of the same colour......the aphids and springtails of the other day are so tiny, they can be missed if you don’t really look.

even in the depths of winter, just turn over a few large leaves, or specially placed log....to discover an amazing variety of life.....During  Spring and Summer the insects and bugs find you.
