WAITING FOR SOMETHING TO HAPPEN

Recommended Posts

Street Photography, isn’t just a matter of firing away at almost anything that passes.....there are times when an opportunity of light or background initiates the creative processes, not to artificially compose a shot....but....to allow a shot, to compose itself.

This happened to me in Coventry City Centre yesterday......a newly erected white hoarding surrounds a large demolition project, the sun struck this corner in a very effective way, so all I needed to do, was to be patient.

This patience was rewarded every so often by the perfect subject walking into frame, allowing all the elements to make a single whole...... here, I demonstrate how it can be very effective in both colour and in  black and white.

This has been further learning for me too, in using my iPad-pro more as my main editor, so far I am more than pleased.
