This trembly little pooch is left outside our Waitrose on fairly  a regular basis.....she seems to invoke huge sympathy from shoppers and passer's by...especially yesterday when it was a bit nippier than usual.

I cant bear dogs being tied up outside of shops.
Its so unsafe... The amount of dogs (especially the smaller breeds)  which get stolen for horrific reasons... etc... etc.... is massively on the rise.
IMHO I think people should leave them at home where it is safe if you cant take them with you.

Great image BTW FUJI really hit a chord with me as you can see.

I agree completely, Craig. I leave my dog at home when I go shopping, unless there are two of us, so we can take it in turns to mind Evie while the other is in the shop.

Fuj, It's a lovely picture, all the same. I can't choose out of the two images as the are both interesting.

Hi, Craig,

it is good of you to be so concerned.....where she was left is undercover by the main doors of the Waitrose in our small town.....I don’t think she is a valuable looking pooch .... except in the eyes of her owner.....I caught sight of her a month or so back....it is possible the walk to that shop is as far as both want to go....

I will look around more closely next time....

That little dog plays fir all the sympathetic she can get.....loves the attention....

Good shot - I prefer the mono version.  (I always say that, don't I?)

Would it have been better to get down a bit lower so the picture was from the dog's level rather than looking down?  (I realise that might not have been possible of course.)

What Craig said!
