DREAM WHEELS 1 & 2

Both of these spotted in town this morning....

In 1955 I witnessed an E-Type exactly the same as this collide with the back of a parked car right outside what is our house now, it was badly damaged, I had to pull the unconscious passenger out, very carefully but quickly because the wreck was smoking like mad....all in the days when Ambulances and Police Cars had bells instead of sirens:

The driver was showing off to his lady friend, he accelerated hard immediately they turned the acute LH bend at the top of the road...I don't think he was very experienced.

Both pics taken in the bright morning sun....the E-Type was travelling towards me in town.

Hi, Polly,

'Yes, I did have a play with the vintage filters, but nothing there seen]med to do this classic British car justice......a mate of mine, has just stated..

"It still looks the business".........It does indeed.

To bring that design back, but with a current  engine under the bonnet and latest tyres and tech, would sell like hot cakes I reckon?
