Looks like a police mug shot...yep menacing is the right word.
  2. That has thrown me into confusion again.. So with a Canon EOS 500d should I be looking for EF or EF-S, or was I right in thinking either will do?
  3. Thanks Leon...that answers that one then xxx
  4. So does the 50mm F1.8 for my Canon only come as EF....?
  5. See...when it's put in plain English I can grasp it...! So basically with my Canon EOS I can use either. Thanks Geoff xxx
  6. Can somebody please explain the difference in lens for me, as in the difference between EF and EF-S, and the red dot and the white square. I find all this techie stuff confusing. And can you explain in plain English....my poor head is spinning...!
  7. LOL Brian...that has a massive fear factor too it....sneaky spider.
  8. It was a brilliant year here for butterflies last summerKobione, as has been confirmed on the news. But there seemed to be a lack of spiders to me....

  13. I like the colour edit..It reminds me of some very old photos my parents had on the walls with just a hint of pastel colours in them.
  14. I keep all of my pictures on an external hard drive in folders by place names, and then I have macro, smoke and water folders.

    Best of 2013

I have only posted one cat picture Colin, the one that was for the Typtrch (can't spell it) theme... Yes you did tell me to try and sell it....but no I never..!
  17. I use the optical lens wipes, but I often forget to take them out with me, so then it's spit and t shirt cuff....but i do blow on the lens first to chase away any dusty stuff. And as Colin points out, I always hold my camera body downwards when changing lenses...indoors and out.

    Tablet?

These tablet things have never interested me at all, I know people love them. Brian offered to but one for me, he looked quite puzzled when I said I did not want or need one, nor a kindle..I like my books.. All my mates have these items, so I must be missing the point on them somewhere along the line...
  19. Dear God....I heard this today too....Nooooooooooooooo!
