  1. Thank you Dave. Though all the info given on here now has totally mind boggled me lol. I've heard of Lightroom etc, but never tried. I don't wish to undertake extensive photo editing, but I rather enjoyed CS2 and this recent Elements 11 and found that it's ample sufficiency for my needs right now. I need to learn about my camera before editing the pics haha. Thank you and I'm going to read the info you've provided in the links tomorrow. Hi Chris, you make a good point here.............I love 'graphic' type pics, hence why I've made my avatar in the way it is.......(well, not quite graphic, but along the lines). Yes, I found CS2 more than enough at the time......not sure how much more CS6 offers, but I express Photoshop/CS2 because that's all I know. Thank you Chris! Hi Colin, I've tried layers with CS2, but found it complicating.....though I didn't play enough with it. I've heard a lot about LR too, but confused now as to what to do. Thank you for taking the time to give your input. Thank you Blackrox, I will check that link after this post. Hi again Chris, Yes I still have my old desktop and CS2 is still on there. I will see if I can find the registration tomorrow. I only have one doubt regarding my copy though...............! Thank you all for your feedback, I am rather overwhelmed to be honest!! I am however, rather confused now too lol.
  2. Hi - Years ago, I used Photoshop CS2 and LOVED IT! I installed it on desktop PC, but cannot use it on my laptop as I do not have the registration number. I've recently installed a free trial version of Elements 11 and felt very much at ease with it. However, that trial has now expired and I'm not sure what to do next. I've got Picasa, but I just cannot get along with it at all.........maybe it's just me, but I don't like it. I cannot find any free full downloads for the usual Photoshop software, and not sure if it's worth spending the starting prices on Amazon, (From £50) for Elements........unfortunately Photoshop CS6 comes in nearly x6 that amount. I'm on a budget, but quite lost now my trial has expired so was hoping for any advice or suggestions from you all on here please. Thank you.

    Dead forum

Well, I was chuffed to have found the email re this forum being resurrected/set up again. I thought it'd gone forever, having been out of touch with photography. I've only been back a minute's worth, but have been made to feel very welcome and at ease with everyone, even though I haven't met anyone yet. Plus, it's a relief and a pleasure not to feel inferior with any uploads. Everyone's photo is as good as the next.....plus there is always room for improvement and help and advice from YOU peeps on here. Thank you my lovelies.
  4. I remember that series lol. TROUBLE
  5. Hey Jonni, hello and welcome to the forum.
  6. EXCITEMENT (LOVE PARTIES LOL)
  7. Well done John, very detailed and good composition.
  8. Well, I can't stop pressing the button, lol.....I just love pressing it No, seriously..... I agree with the comments made on this topic, but it's nice to receive a 'like' as this also shows (for me) that a member has looked at my photo and taken the time to show that they like it. However, I find it helpful to receive a comment and if that member offers critique, then all the better. I also prefer an honest, 'say it as you feel' opinion regarding photos, at least I know where I am then with regard to my next plan of action to improve the shot if I was able to take it again etc.... For me, I've always been the type, (based on my nature lol), to try not to upset a person's feelings etc, and therefore be truthful but indirect with a comment, but 'life's' experience over the last 2 years has encouraged me to think differently about things and about how I can give an honest opinion without feeling too bad about it. Sorry for the waffle, hope I've made sense, lol.
  9. Ooh, the terminology is coming back to my little brain lol..... I've not tried bracketing though, need to know what I'm doing first. I never gave it a thought to check if the D3200 had a grid.....if I'd know it hadn't, I would have bought a different camera. I really miss it for every day pics, but nevermind, will have to manage without.
  10. I've looked through my settings and don't believe I have a grid on my D3200. Disappointing, (unless I've missed it), because my FujiS9500 had one and I found it very useful, especially for the horizon.

You can get humane traps that don't injure or kill them. Then you could release them into the countryside.

If they are field mice, they won't usually survive in a building, but if they are house mice, you could definitely be over-run.

Ewwww lol. I don't fancy releasing them, wouldn't want to be that close. I'm calling the pest control tomorrow. It seems they've helped themselves to potato and onion lol. Perhaps they're making me a pie haha.
