That's a good image all round. Curious about its antennae (if that's the right word). Has it lost one or is it just the viewpoint.
It's the viewpoint John!
This image is not as good overall but it does show the right antennae... I think it is shorter though. I can just about make out the antennae in the original image by really looking hard but it very out of focus.

The ubiquitous White Tailed Bumble Bee, the only Bumble Bee that is aggressive and stings. We have loads of them here but at least they are doing a job of pollinating. Nice capture.
Thanks for the ID John!
Here's another.

I always find Bumblebees hard to photgraph well and I seem to end up with loads of rejects... this one turned out better than most!

I too would say it's a Common Darter (female), the dark legs show the light/yellow stripe down the legs which is one way to ID Common Darters. It's definately not a Damselfly, their wings are always folded back over the length of their body when at rest.

No1 for me as well.

It won't affect me, my car is a diesel and I haven't used petrol from garage pumps in my mower for over three years, I use Aspen Alkylate fuel in both my 26 year old Honda mower and my much newer strimmer. It comes in both 4-stroke and 2-stroke forms. It's quite expensive but it's very much cleaner than pump fuel and that's better for me and the planet as the emissions are much less harmful... especially the 2-stroke version as there is hardly any smoke. Unlike pump fuel it doesn't have to be drained from the mower and strimmer fuel tanks when they are unused during the winter months. It doesn't absorb water like pump fuel and can be left in the fuel tanks for several years.

Nicely caught John, I saw an interesting caterpillar today but didn't have my macro setup up with me... It's always the case.
That's what I love about my Panasonic FZ2000... I always have the right lens...

I can't say I've ever seen one of these caterpillars before, I thought they were most likely found in eastern counties of England and not as far west as Herefordshire where I live.

It's amazing how useful those little table top tripods can be isn't it John .... Thanks for posting the detail of your settings too ... always helpful .. your Panasonic FZ 2000 never lets you down ... though the photographer deserves credit too
This is the mini tripod I use Polly! It's solid with no plastic parts, Ok it's expensive but as they say... You get what you pay for and I don't mind paying a bit more for quality.

Thank you Kate and Polly!
In order to get good DOF I used the "Focus Stacking" feature on my camera.

Very clear shot John, that camera certainly works well!
Thanks Denis!
I'm really pleased with my Panny... Settings were: 125sec f/5.0 ISO 125 Exposure Compensation -3 I did a crop and boosted the contrast a bit and the same with clarity and I sharpened a little, that's about it. I used a mini tripod on my patio table.
