  1. I had X-Rays on my bad feet yesterday, I guess it be a while before I hear anything. I'm only taking photos at home and not going out much. I dashed out in the garden between the heavy showers and took these shots. I didn't us my Raynox this time, I used a Marumi +5 Close up lens instead.

    Yes I used a tripod which was only delivered to me on Sunday, I wanted something lighter than my old tripod and the new one will just go into my small rucksack. It's very rigid considering how light it is, however I don't like the ballhead that came with it so I used a better one that I have had for years... I do like the tripod though!

  3. My Henry vacuum cleaner stopped working after 16 years (I have another one in my garage that's 33 years old and still working), I fitted new carbon brushes in the motor and all is fine now. I have never seen a pair of carbon brushes so unevenly worn as this pair.
