Fabulous set of these majestic creatures ..... couldn't see the man in the red suit anywhere though ... well it is still only October ....
It looks like the chap in the last pic has a part time job as a gardener looking at the amount of grass he has raked up !
Cheers...yes the wardens will be getting to sort people out soon!

Once again there are a number of contenders vying for my POTW spot ... Highly commended are Khm's Warrendale Knotts vista of those limestone cliffs and Rybear's outstanding #3 image in his Abercastle sunset set but this week I was really taken with Hatter's Abstract RUST image I loved this for the colour texture balance and the fact that It was " seen " when many would have overlooked the rust on a boat ..... congratulations Hatter .... Back with a bang !
Original seen here .... https://www.tipf.co.uk/forums/topic/53558-rust/?tab=comments#comment-237770
Simple and effect...well done for potw

That’s a memorable view Khm…thoughtfully composed…that sky actually adds considerable perspective to the image for me and really accentuates the depth in the vista… you can see for miles !!
Thank you, that was the plan!
This has made an excellent print too.

Magnificent West Yorkshire .... what a county eh ... Those Limestone outcrops form a fabulous backdrop to Settle Karl ...I imagine that was a fair climb . I presume it's a popular place for rock climbers too ...
Thank you.....yes a what a great first backdrop to see when getting into Settle. First time i went inti the hill was in the heart of that image you can see. There is a small hill called 'sugarloaf hill'..when up there you get this fabulous 360deg view, can even see Pendle Hill.
I did take some images then with the big zoom lens, you can clearly make out the number of caves there are.

It's my turn to choose the POTW again!
It's definitely been a week for macro / close-ups.
Honourable mentions go to:
Paul for E. Tenax
JohnP for Geranium Flowers
But my choice for POTW has to be Paul's 'Grey Dagger Moth Caterpillar':
If you haven't already done so, please have a look at the full sequence of images here and marvel at how Paul has got in closer and closer and...
Well done Paul!
Gareth
What a terrible POTW image! .....cause I'm jealous of what a great capture this. Naaaa on a serious note, definitely a good choice this time round....well done
