  1. Morning FUJI ....Nothing wrong with a bug hunt lol.....am off out today with Stella on a bug hunt, wish me luck lol
  2. If the Venus requires you to be closer to the subject? By adding extension tubes will require you to be even closer? Or at least that's how it worked with my 50mm...Either way I will be anxious to see what results you get from your experiment.
  3. You can replicate a 2:1 by adding "Extension Tubes" at very little extra cost whilst still retaining an Auto Focus Function as demonstrated with this Leaf Cutter Ant
  4. This is why I went from 50mm Macro to 105mm, with the 50mm I found I was tapping the subject on the shoulder and asking politely if I could photograph it lol, with the 105mm focus distance is about 5 inches at a guess, so gives me a chance to sneak in and its AF so setting the camera on Servo makes my job so much easier. As for using Tripod? there is a work around for when it come to shooting bugs, but while you are shooting flowers Tripod is good, and maybe some stacking software?
  5. LOLOL impulsive buyer like me then?? will be interested to see the results you get with the Venus... I use a Sigma 105mm 2.8 1:1 Macro lens. . . . With added Extension Tubes
  6. Wishing I didn't have to go to work lol

  7. Ok can some one help me out? How do I add photo's or create albums?
  8. Hi guys and a big helloo from me.....
