  1. I already did Chris ....Think I'd already cast aspersions on your physique regarding how little meat was on your bones when I offered the tea and sticky bun bribe on my debut ... So ...I'm not pushing my luck ... .
  2. Clicker

    POTW - w/e 22/2/15

Looks a good'un Paul ..congratulations and well done .
  3. Yeah ..Know anyone who wants to buy some boxing gloves and other sports paraphernalia ... I hear they can be quite an investment ! Anyway ... I'm now going to acquaint myself with the ph*tob*c*et website .... to see how I post the larger versions of photos ... Thank you all for the super welcome .... and the entertaining humourous asides.
  4. Erm .... If my avatar means I'm a gal.... Does that mean Korky is a cartoon cat, you are a chair and JFPhoto is ...a camera?
  5. :rofl:Where to begin ... Not sure I should tell who the friend is who sent me here ... Feels a bit like "grassin' someone up" after all the trouble I seem to have caused . I 'm sure you can tell though as it seemed she almost disowned me .. FUJI... sorry 'bout the blue text ...as soon as I posted...I knew you'd be back .... and ( I had already sussed you out as a ... really helpful soul who would put me right ) as I said before I could not edit it to change it for you . What IS the reason the new kids cannot edit till 30 posts ...Hmmmm ... is it so our initial mistakes are kept for all to see how daft we are ? Interesting that some folk thought I was Mr Clicker rather than Miss or Mrs ( was it the Rugby, Cricket and Football on my profile that influenced that ) And is it the avatar that makes you think I'm not a Mister ? OOoops... I think it was JMP who gave the game away referring to my gender . Now whilst typing this Adobe flash has crashed so I cannot add any more emoticons at the mo ... Korky .... What can I say ....Suffering with a debilitating headache ..is something that I have regular experience of ....though I suspect the causes are different ( too much time in front of this monitor maybe...) I do hope Matron has let you out of the cupboard now and that the damage caused is reversible... I have heard that whittling on talking about it is a successful form treatment so maybe my offer of some Whine therapy in a goldfish bowl sized glass will do the trick ... Am I forgiven ? I see you do have an off topic smiley .... but I'm not complainin' ... lol
  6. Thanks Jon, Blackrox, Paul and VWGolf for dropping by to say Hi .. . FUJI ... I used the Comic Sans font on the post that you are referring to ( can't edit it yet ...not enough posts ) I did it whilst using my Sony laptop ....however when I looked at it LATER on my iPad it is in a completely different font, in an italic script that is difficult to read! . How very strange that is .... so for your benefit and anyone else reading it on an iPad I have copied and pasted it and removed the formatting ...see below. Hope that puts it right "Thanks for the welcome ....Looks like the bribe worked with Martyn and Chris .....well Chris you do look like you could do with a few calories going by your Avatar Thank you Kev... but with that Avatar you don't need to add a smiley emoticon 'Tis kind you of RonL, KateW, OlyPaul and Korky to take the time to say hi too...appreciate that . JPhoto ...from Lichfield . ...that reminds me ... the Flemish Glass windows are back in the Cathedral .. must go and see them soon . Thank you too for the welcome. Fuzzyedges ... thanks for the reassurance about making a faux pas... for some reason your name seems more appropriate to FUJI's Avatar ..Must be the hair... I better be careful not to mix you up inadvertently now Hello FUJI ( making a mental note .. this is NOT Fuzzyedges ) CS6 is my backyard too, having cut my milk teeth on Photoshop 6 in the last millenium and then almost every upgraded version since. I haven't used COREL in years though. I will post as soon as I know how to get images on here that don't contravene the file size ceilling ! Appreciate the info relating to the edit button cuillin and Phil.... I thought it was me being obtuse when I couldn't find it Thanks . I hope I haven't missed anyone out ... but thank you all for saying hello." I wonder if anyone else has noticed that it seems to show as a font other than the Comic Sans one when viewing on an iPad?

  8. T'is my first day at school too Paul ... feels a bit like "all shiny shoes and a new blazer " dunnit ? Welcome ... but don't ask me anything ... cos I don't know yet
  9. Oh dear ... are there lions and tigers to contend with ....
  10. G'day Kobione... Thanks for putting out the welcome mat. Just checking out how one edits a post ... ( in anticipation of needing to ) I never seem to learn to check for typos before hitting the post button. Just trying to practise the Family Motto - Nunquam non paratus .... Never unprepared
  11. Sorry it took a while to reply ......Looks like my first task might be to bake a cake !!
  12. ...And it appears to be a the sort of workshop/cafe and gallery that is home to a motley crew of very talented, friendly beings who have an interest similar to mine..... To capture images and display them in the way that represents maybe a reflection of how we see the world or would like to see it maybe. With a background originally in Fine Art, I love how spending a day painting with digital paints and brushes ( instead of the real thing ) is so much easier to clean up after . Just going to acquaint myself with the rules and regs etc to avoid the prospect of making a major faux pas as a newbie and hope to learn new techniques and share useful information about producing the images that we see when we look. I may even bribe you with coffee and a sticky bun to be kind to me if I trip up over obvious obstacles .... After browsing for a few days ... some great work displayed here .... so here goes ...dipping my toe in ! With thanks to my friend ... Clicker
