Thanks for the warm welcome everyone ? I'm not actually from Yorkshire, I am from North Lincs originally although moved to Hessle about 5 years ago to be nearer my work. Now I'm travelling the other way across the bridge... At least it's free on a motorcycle albeit cold this time of year.

Thanks guys. I'm just awaiting the arrival on a 5D3 to go with my 70D so I really need to get out there. My previous DSLR was a D60 which I still have. I Have a few hobbies which include Motorsport ( I have 3 motorbikes ) and also do track days, SCUBA diving, cycling and cars. Hopefully I'm treating myself to something a bit special later in the year. Living less than 5 minutes from the Humber Bridge I really should get a decent shot of that. Let's see over the next few days/ weeks. ?

Hi, I have just joined the forum as I am trying to get back into photography after spending unite a while being busy doing other things. The excuse for me buying new gear was my new born (07/01/2015) however I have now got a bit carried away! I have had a look around and the site looks great, I am hoping to even take part in some of the challenges although I have a long way to go. Here are a few quick shots I took last week at work, although they were with my Ixus 105 and iPhone as my DSLR kit was at home.
