Hi everyone,
I'm Jo and although i am originally from SW London I now live in Bergamo (north Italy)
I am very new to photography and am so excited about joining in the forum here and learning all i can.
I guess i have always had a passing interest in photography but i only 'intentionally' starting taking pictures about a year ago. After moving to Italy with my husband I really struggled to adapt to life here and so, to try and get acquainted with the village where i live and to make sure i left the house I would give myself a daily photo assignment and off i would go with my little iphone. Well, i completely fell in love with photography and the iphone quickly got traded for my point and shoot and, having felt i had outgrown that as well I treated myself my first entry level DSLR (a Nikon D3200) a couple of weeks ago.
I am now crazily trying to learn as much as I can about lighting and then will move on to composition so please be gentle with me
Like i said i am really looking forward to joing in and getting to 'know' everyone here.
