Looking from Beachy Head a snow storm about 10 miles across moves in from the East towards Eastbourne

Thanks Kev, it was really strange, I think it was the unusual combination of cold blue sky, dark snow clouds and really bright sun that gave the cloud that eerie glow, it was quite beautiful to watch-

Thanks Paul, Yes, it was like a massive blob of cotton wool over the sea, it then started to move inland as well, It only lasted about 20 mins and the snow didn't really lay,

Thanks Cathy, It was so unusual, a combination of blue sky, bright sunlight and a concentrated snow cloud possibly caused the glow,

Thanks Cuilin, From Beachy Head (600ft),  on a clear day it is possible to see as far as Selsey to the west and beyond Hastings to the East, France to the South is 60 miles away, but some people have clamed to see the French coast with binoculars, but I have reservations?

 As for the Scotch, ---no comment,
