One for the Apple users here on TIPF.

Duet is an App (half price in the App Store at the moment) that allows your iPhone/iPad to be used as a second screen with your Mac.

You can set it to mirror your screen or more usefully be an additional screen - below I have a couple of examples of it working.

On the first I have pulled one Safari browser screen onto it while I use another on the iMac. Last night I had YouTube open on the iPad screen with a few music videos running. I was doing general browsing on the iMac but was able to watch the videos as I went along, the sound was coming through the iMac as technically thats what is driving the iPad.

On the second example I have dragged my Photoshop Pallets onto the iPad so I have a larger (uninterrupted) screen on the iMac to work on the image. You simple move the mouse off the edge of the iMac and it instantly appears on the iPad. You can even buy a mount that holds the iPad against the edge of your Mac if you find you are using the App combo regularly - not sure I'll go that far but I will experiment more.
