Gloomy Places - Greenery

So I was hanging around an old mining works, I've been there before and always found it rather fascinating - so I came back to take some more pictures of it some years after my first visit.

These are the more natural ones!

 

I've always paths that disappear off like this.

 

This tree looked very "Mirkwood"...

I love #2 - tranquility. I think #3 has a lot of dramatic potential. The last one is a pleasant composition, but as it stands it's rather over-saturated and the foreground is blurred?

 

#1 has too much going on, and also too much contrast, for my taste.
