my first attempt of firework photography.

It is difficult to find a point of interest in the foreground of a firework display on a beach with no pier , so I used these kids instead

I like the use of the people in the shot. The colour in the fireworks is nice.

Not for me I'm afraid. The fireworks are great, but I'd find the inclusion of people more effective if it was a single (or a few) face looking up in wonder, lit perhaps by the fireworks or by a fill flash (I've never tried it! I just have an idea of what would work). To me, those figures are dark and rather shapeless lumps that were better not there. That's just my opinion.

Good Idea,.. I will try that at newyears eve if they have a display here this year

I think it could be better with the red patches taken out of the dark sky too?

I like the idea, but having not tried this sort of shot its hard to comment, but I will have a go now,---thanks for the prod,
