Roses

I think for the first one I was trying to create a kind of "Olde" look, but it wanted the roses to really stand out. The second one was more an experiment as I've always thought that dying flowers look great with a sort of grainy b and w, a bit "funereal", if you will.

Its always worth pushing your boundaries to try and get what you are looking for, It will come, trust me.

I don't dislike the first one, its a bit like paper roses, and the grain on # 2 is OK, its just the contrasts have gone a bit astray,

Geoff

Thanks.

Well, I'm nothing if not willing to learn, so I'll just keep practising! :)
