This is a test which is more telling in its own way:

The two normal size shots aren't dramatically different - they're both Lumix cameras with Leica lenses after all - but the 100% crops show a big difference between 1/2.3" and mFT sensors. I can only say that what manufacturers have done with 1/2.3" sensors is a minor miracle, considering they are about one eighth the size of the mFT, with (in this case) very similar resolutions. The mFT is clearly very much better, but 8 times better? No.
