Thanks Chris, I photograph a lot on this part of the downs so I imaging It may ave featured before at some time, as for the colour, I have tried various strengths but found that I lost a lot of delicate pattern in the clouds, so left is a little soft. Thanks again for your feedback, much appreciated,

Ah no, I didn't mean more saturated - I just meant slightly more towards 'yellow + red', i.e. warmer?

How about this???

Hmm. No, I prefer your original. I don't think I'd be able to explain what I mean, only show you, and even then I might not be able to improve your original. As you say, it's the subtlety of colour range that's its strength.

Ok, thanks Geoff. All I've done is the most subtle of tweaks, and to be honest, it may boil down in the end to nothing more than monitor calibration. This looks right to me, but it may not to you.

I see what you are getting at Chris, Certainly the whole picture looks more "substantial", --but as in my second one we have lost that pinkish sky from the original which was pretty true to the actual scene. Still its all good fun,

Geoff

I am liking the original. Lovely shot.

Thanks a lot Kev, very much appreciated,

Geoff

It's lovely!

Thanks very much NF, much appreciated,
