I went to the Black Country Museum several times in the 1980s (great place! it was being developed back then, but the village with its pub and chemist shop and chapel, were already there, as were the tram, the mineshaft and the canal boat). When did it acquire the "Living" moniker, and how is it more "alive" now than it was back then? I don't remember a schoolroom, but perhaps it wasn't open, or maybe it's a later addition.

Chris before yesterday the last time I went was in 1990 when I lived in Netherton, there is a lot more there now and some of the buildings have been added after being moved brick by brick from parts of the black country and rebuilt.

Thanks for that Paul. It looks a lot the same, but I guess  they have a lot more special events there now, not to mention using the village street as a film lot.
