Spitfire MH434

Spitfire MH434, built in 1943 and still going strong performing at Twinwood on Saturday.

What a glorious sound as we had not just a flypast, but a display of many flyovers, rolls, loops and 'attack runs'. Great entertainment by the pilot and appreciated by everyone who could get outdoors to look up.

in the first one, I left that bit of white tent for effect since I thought it might look a bit like the wing of another aircraft with the Spitfire alongside

A nice couple of shots there, I do love the Spitfire - my favourite single engined aircraft.

The shutter speed is a bit fast and you've frozen the propellor but the angles are both nice and you've framed it well.

Nice work :)
