Starting Up

Taken at the Duxford D-Day show in May this year, the C-47s starting up ready for their slot, in a huge downpour. A pleasing line up of aircraft to witness. Whiskey 7 (with 37 on the nose) flew as the lead ship in the second wave on D-Day, dropping paratroops near St. Mere Eglise and had been flown over from New York especially for the anniversary.
