Foxie (for pauln)

I think foxes are almost impossible to get - they only come out at night, they're very nervous, and move quite quickly. I waited MONTHS to get this, despite them coming down to our courtyard every night. This time, it was still half light, but all I managed was three quick grab shots through the window, of which this was the only serviceable one (and it has had a LOT of processing, including quite aggressive use of the High Pass filter, hence the intrusive noise.) 

 

But, better to have one poor shot than none at all, and I'm glad I have it even though it won't win any wildlife photography comps.

lovely ! i think these are some of the prettiest animals in our countryside.

Thanks Heather. My main regret is that its colour is somewhat diluted by being grabbed against a brick wall. Perhaps I should go into Photoshop and make the brickwork dark grey instead.
