Stood up on a ledge pointing the camera down while peering through the viewfinder does very little for your balance but it did turn out the shot just as I wanted it.

if I lived by the coast I think I would shoot the water coming between two rocks, or over a single rock maybe??

then again you will probably say that's all been done before..

yours is ORIGINAL!

I like the milky water texture which is a little difficult to tell if it is water or sky and my mind would like more of it. But i find the hard line between it and the rocks too brutal , almost a like a bad Photoshop overlay (I appreciate it is not).

What would I change?  forget the rocks and shot straight down onto the water, although a rock jutting out of the water might look cool?

It was experimental - the experiment worked - the resulting shot is open to interpretation.

Out of interest (I live by the coast and can easily shoot this again) what would you change?

I'd make a very slight change - have the rocks and water each forming more or less exactly 50% of the shot, so it could also be a semi-abstract of two different textures that have a geometric relationship.
