This was taken in my early days of photography (2010) when I had a canon 1000D. This was shot at Kielder Reservoir, Northumberland. I really didn't have a clue what i was doing then, just firing on sports mode. This is 2 images combined.

Seriously. I stuck it on sports mode and fired the shutter as the bird flew in. Hubby had the food in his hand. I didnt know about rule of thirds, DOF, shutter speeds or anything.the second bird as in the one flying in not the one eating, I added tonight from the same set of rapid fire shots. That partcular trip out was where I realised how much fun I was gonna have with my camera.

I wouldnt say this if it wasnt true.

Well, it's either beginners luck or natural talent. I'm going for the latter..
