Milking ants

According someone on facebook:

They're milking the aphids. The aphids secrete a sugar compound that the ants love. In return the ants protect the aphids from predators.

Not sure if this is true?

Anyway not the best photo though

'Ants often form associations with other insects, especially aphids and mealy bugs which are effectively farmed for their honeydew secretions. This relationship is beneficial for both parties, however, as in return for the sugar rich liquids, the creatures concerned are given almost total protection from other predators.'
