Artistic photography 2

Inspired by David's experiments, here is one I took 3 years ago, of the serving hatch in a restaurant.

I have to confess that it wasn't conceived as an artistic experiment, apart from choosing to shoot in mono. However, the light was very poor so the camera selected a slow shutter speed, with resulting blur. It was only 'after the event' that I looked at the image again, and decided it might have some merit after all.

At first I was looking to see what was causing the movement when the rest of the image is so sharp. then when you pointed out it was a serving hatch it all fit together! It is one of those that holds your interest, it does indeed have merit :)
