The eyes have it

A while back, we had a 'model' evening at the camera club and one of our willing victims was a lovely young girl (there with her mother) who was a bit of a natural.

Because of her age, I won't post the full pictures so you'll have to make do with her eyes :) (nothing untoward about the full pictures but I don't have the model's or the mother's permission)

I know this breaks composition rules, with everything centred but I hope you like it.

Lighting was from a softbox mounted camera left and there was a light wall to her left to provide a bit of bounce.

This is almost all crop (cropped from a full face & shoulders shot, and just resized from 1100 to 800 px width) and now I'm wondering if an even more severe crop on height would be better?

Very expressive eyes - from the look of them and her bone structure, she seems to be in her late teens, but you're suggesting younger than that?

Yes Chris, I think early to mid teens, one reason we required her mother to be in attendance. We asked in the village for a couple of models for the camera club evening and this young lady and a young man of about 18-19 came along (with the girls mum). 'Payment' was a series of the best of our photos for each of them to take away and use as they wished.
