The wrong trousers

I thought it might be fun to share a few images from one of my favourite things - doing it 'wrong' and experimenting.

 

In this instance, I removed the single meniscus lens from a knackered Kodak Hawkeye 127 camera (a small box camera) and attached it to the front of my old Pentax *istD via a set of bellows for focussing. With the right subject matter, it could be fun. Some examples:

Like I said in an earlier post; fancy cameras don't take better pictures, it's the eyes you need. Looks like you've grasped that and wrung it's neck, these are fantastic.

Now I have a camera with interchangeable lens, you can expect more of this kind of thing!

 

Just need to source some heli-tubes for a realistic price...

I agree with David - the resulting softness is perfect for those subjects.
