Can Anyone Recommend A Free Watermarking/Re-Sizing Software?

Recommended Posts

I dont go in for watermarks etc but Helicon Filter 4.93 (this is a 2009 version ) which is free does re sizing cropping framing and allows text to be added to an image plus a whole host of other things

Check your virous security is up to date as these free downloads are perfect for the scum of the internet

whilst not really a 'batch' marker you could make a psd layer in photoshop and keep a shortcut on your desktop.

Photoshop lets you create a 'batch droplet' (mini app) that can be applied in a batch way. Just record opening an image, adding your watermark layer (separate file), flattening, then saving the image. Then save as a 'droplet'.

Create an action in Photoshop.

Set the Action recording, do all the things you want to one picture, save the action then you can point Photoshop at a folder full of the images you need batching and let it rip.

good post BP,  I forgot all about actions, saved this some time back but never used/tried it and I'm sure there must be more tutorials out on the www

But James I would ask why you wish to watermark images? Whilst I do watermark the odd picture I (and others) would probably say in general its pretty pointless.
