Backdrop Support Equipment

Recommended Posts

Amazingly enough good timing.

I am just about to get backdrops, and over the years I have bought the best of whatever I can/could afford.

However,............... Now I have learnt that highest price does NOT mean better.

My cheap Tesco kettles, toasters and vacuum cleaners have WAY outlasted the Morphy Richards and Swan and Hoovers.

I got one of these.

(a) For £22 what have you to lose, (B) it is held together with rivets, very handy as if it ever needs fixing a small bolt with a locknut will work, two free (probably poor) backdrops but more than suitable for other uses like macro/still life backdrops on a table.

Finally for that price, suitable as a flashlighting stand.

bargin at half price or so + free postage.

if you can make use of that size back drop, if not then an expensive do, if only getting a small use you can make your own using clothes props, a bar and a sheet for under the tenner mark.

geoff

I have one very similar to the ebay one, got it from ebay it came with three backdrops, white black and green but they are very very thin and wrinkle easily. the cross bar is in 3 pieces and can be used with just two sections which makes it about 5 ft across so if you have less space its good
