Bottoms on the Sand

Every day, the tide rolls in and picks up these tiny craft; then it rolls back out again and deposits them in different positions and at different angles. Every time I drive past I am drawn to the patterns of colour and light. One day the masts all lean to the right, the next day to the left. Even if I don't have time to stop and take photographs (of which I already have hundreds) I slow down and look longingly!

a wonderful and colourful set Martyn, I think maybe with no.2 you could have use the 'green islands' better to pull your eye in but, hey who cares - I'll take them as they are (although I think the idea of a close crop on 1 is worth a shot)

Hey Martyn - Love all 3.......for me #2, because I'm drawn more to the fact that the two boats and resting/leaning in opposite directions and the interesting little patterns making their way up to the boats.  Shown more in this image than the others. Thumbs up Martyn. ;)
