took this the other night, I was quite pleased with it but the noise was quite bad so I'm not sure if it's a keeper, I'm also still struggling with composition of landscapes, honest opinions please

To be honest, I'm struggling with seeing this as a picture that captures my interest (and I'm definitely a sky man!). Technically it's fine, but I'm not sure that a panorama works where the real point of interest is the sun and what's immediately around it?

Just as an experiment I squared off the right hand end of the shot and found there was definitely a picture there. But my eyes just do not want to move to the left, as it is.

My opinion only, of course.

Like your previous moon shot, this is cropped a little tight for me. I think I would like to see more sky above the sun so that it sits on the lower right crossing of the line of thirds. I would also be tempted to edit out the poles and lines. I love the silhouette effect and the colour of the sky.

I'm struggling with the focus point on this one Leon as nothing looks particularly sharp?

I see there are some sheep lost in the foreground, can't make out if the camera has focused on them and not the telegraph poles which is a shame.

but what I do see is a picture where you have taken the time to give it a little thought, moving the sun off centre and including something other than a line of trees and hedgerows has made a far better photo than slapping a sun in the middle of the picture above a hedge of which you see so many. - keep it up :smiling:
