Camera - 

Compact Canon powershot G15 was used for both the subject and background.

Lighting - 

2 x Vivitar 285's one at each side of him and slightly behind for the rim.

1 vivitar 285 bounced off an Umbrella to the front (butterfly).

Background - 

A local park.

What I love about this is the composition - you've captured the sheer excitement of the moment of coming off the pogo stick, that moment almost of horror at the possible consequences "But I'm gonna do it anyway!" Good capture.

 

The thing I don't like is the unnatural look to it - like those so-called HDR shots I hate so much. It gives the finished picture a slightly cartoonish quality, but that may have been what you aimed at?
