Hey....that's pretty darn good mrwall!

Think you've done a very good job with the focus, considering that it must have been hovering a little.  Would look nice for post card or desktop wallpaper.

 

I thought it would be nice to see the settings that members use.......is that possible? What did you use for this pic mrwall?

Canon 1000d, F5 400/sec 118mm focal length  on Sigma 70-300 DG lens with Macro function.

 

It wasn't hovering you can see it's wings

not sure if this is any help to you...

 

 I'm a bit confused to your post camera info regarding the 118mm focal length ??

 

When I have the lens set to macro it always reads 300mm - might be the difference in camera make but I wondered if you were using it set on macro??

how strange, Windows gives a different focal length to Picassa???

 

picassa says 308mm, and 190mm??

 

this is why I don't post such info
