New visitor to the feeder

New visitor to the feeder. Only just got this before it flew off though unfortunately only got it's back, missed the beautiful red on it's head.

A nice Goldfinch if I'm right ?

It's still a nice shot, even though he does have his back to the camera.

The feeder and the bird are nice and sharp and it does show the lovely bright yellow on his back off nicely.

Thanks.   I made my silly mistake yet again and I cleaned my gear last night and didn't put it back where I shoot the feeder from. So once I spotted him I had to hobble to another room get my camera make sure the card was in, by time I got back he was ready for off.

The shot was taken from halfway down our living room which is 18 ft long, through the closed patio door   and me still moving. To be honest I was shocked at just how well the photo came out I was expecting it to be a candidate for the "worst photo" thread 

 

Oh and again this is the Sigma lens, the more I use this lens the more impressed I am with it
