Flighty Butterflies

Barbara

Recommended Posts

Today has been a day for butterflies, there seems to have been a sad lack of them hereabouts just recently.
Been bobbing about the garden all afternoon but my best success was from hanging out of the living room window above my neighbors Buddlieia ( we live in first floor flat)
I have been quite shocked at some of the antics these flighty things have been getting up to LOL!!!

The best of the day

Dug out my old Vivitar 100-400 Zoom (circa ninteenhundred & frozen to death) no is on it and it's a B****r to hold still
Lovely bright day managed to get iso down to 800 f6.3, 1/1000sec, 400mm.
There are times when I wish I had unlimited funds

That last one looks rather nice! The full version is a bit soft and it might be worth sharpening it a bit, but the detail and especially the colour are all there

Thanks Bugs, I did quite a lot of selective sharpening on the Butterfly and sharpened again for uploading but will try a little more :)
