It was Leicester Caribbean Carnival on Saturday, great event and lots of pics.

That's a lovely happy, fun shot.

I really miss the people dressing up like this as Coventry carnival is now the Godiva Festival which is help in the Memorial Park and the Caribbean was held last weekend in the same place.
Neither had parades.

Please give us a reminder next year as we can bus it to Leicester.

Maybe we could have a thread for up-coming events. Phil?

It may be a bit late for this year but would be good for next year, so people people could advertise what on near them.

Very well composed

The colours could have so easily detracted from the main subject

The fact the main subject is looking left and in focus whilst the rest are looking right and in semi focus leads you to look at her first and then take in the carnival
