The walking dead, or the Mummy Returns?

"“I'm back... and you knew I was coming. On my way here I passed a cinema with the sign 'The Mummy Returns'.”? Margaret Thatcher"

My favourite of her quotes:-

“The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.”? Margaret Thatcher"

“In politics, If you want anything said, ask a man. If you want anything done, ask a woman.”? Margaret Thatcher"

“I always cheer up immensely if an attack is particularly wounding because I think, well, if they attack one personally, it means they have not a single political argument left.”? Margaret Thatcher"

France and other EU countries are now having to deal with the labour problems she had the courage to tackle and Labour has never reversed her policies in spite of union pressure to do so. That is why many international firms like Toyota now produce here for the EU market rather than on the Continent itself.

We always rely on the Tories to deal with the unions when in power and Labour to bring big business to heel, since neither party will ever tackle their own paymasters even though both will condemn the legislation whilst in opposition.  But once these remedies are enacted both make sure they never go back to the previous situation.  Never believe what a politician says, only what they do when in power!!! :yes
