For the Dragonfly experts

One of my only few shots of a Dragonfly from last year.
I looked it up before I knew that there were so many varieties and I identified it as a Common Darter. Am I right or is it another variety?
The lovely thing was that he kept having a fly around and then came back to where I was sitting and cocking his little head to one side as in the last shot.

Yes, it's a male common darter. The legs have a distinctive yellow stripe (completely black on the ruddy darter)

Thank you. They aren't very good but I was chuffed to get some of it.
We got to where the glen was and I realized that I hadn't put my SD card back in the camera so I had to drop the picture size down to 10 MBs and shoot with the internal memory. I managed to get 10 shots that way.

These were shot with the Panasonic Bridge FZ100.

nanny..they are lovely...don't they have strange 'teeth' when you get in close like this....I was quite amazed the first time I got in close to a darter....JAWS..

I think I posted them last year but just wanted to confirm what they were.
I think he may have thought the shiny lens for water or his reflection another dragonfly. He looked so inquisitive.
