A couple shots

  had a "I'm a wally" day today.

As mention went and met mrwall {nice chap, looking forward some other time with somebody with the same hobby rather than the wife who gets board when I'm out with my camera }  round at Penny flash.

 

Got all my setting wrong and poor photos as a result, had been messing around the night before and forgot to check settings ended up way to slow shutter speed    best I ended up with was a Squirrel

 

and a Pigeon

 

Best thing about is is I'm only 10 mins away so can pop back any time for a fresh lot of photos

The squirrel's head is a little out of focus but the pigeon is a cracker

yup the little sod was busy   and i think he shook his head    {my excuse and I'm sticking to it} and still need lots of practice to get used to the lens

 

this was just before he moved to the above position and I got him a bit sharper

I'll crop this shot when i'm in the mood and clear some of the clutter out;)

It's a Sigma APO 150-500mm F5-6.3 DG OS HSM my latest toy

My bro-in-law had the 50-500 which I had use of for 6 months or so, but then he sold it. No consideration at all! 

 

They have fantastic reach.

I was looking at the 50-500 but decided I was covered well enough at the lower end, 150 and down, so saved a few pennies by getting the 150-500
