HI Heather,

Very nice pic,I like the way you caught it in the sunlight.I love Starlings,when they visit my feeders en mass they are great fun to watch as they jostle and bicker to get food even although their is plenty for everyone,(they are particularly fond of fat balls).I hope you dont mind if I put a example of their bird feeder antics (which is far better than watching television)on your thread,its just that the image is not really good enough to warrent its own thread.

An often misjudged garden visitor. It's only when seen close up in the light that their incredible patterned feather detail shows.

A beauty this looks like a youngster in its final change to adult feathers.
