No3 was it taken later in the day with a high iso as the sky seems noisey and spoils it for me

No 3 was taken much earlier before we went off on a walk. The original image was of a memorial bench surrounded by colourful flowers set on a grassy bank, the harbour wall was merely a backdrop to the scene. When I got home and saw the image on my big screen I realised that there were dead grass clippings all over the grass, some of the flowers were well past their best and there was a line of nettles along the bank that effectively cut the picture in half. Basically, this is another severely cropped image as I try to rescue something that didn't work.

I've learnt a lot about photography over the last few weeks; facts, figures, tech speak and all that sort of stuff. What I still need to learn is to LOOK at a scene, LOOK around in the view finder and SEE. I should have walked around to see if there was a better angle or viewpoint. I should have taken a picture of what you now see in this final picture!

Now then, what am I going to do with the other 170 photos that are total rubbish; over exposed, the top too close to the edge or cut off? Thank goodness for the dustbin!
