Not a very good one, and I'm not even sure that it was alive or basking in the sun.
I had to put the lens through the metal railings to get close enough as a walk along the river bank turned up nothing apart from and odd flying insect.
Had to sharpen it and it's not brilliant butt I was happy to come home with at least one of the little devils.

he's nice nanny. I always think they look better if you find them on a flower like this, I usually find mine lurking in the undergrowth.... and look, you have cuckoo spit too...three in one !

My eyes must have been bad last night as I thought that was another petal. lol

How does the sharpening look to you Annie, I went quite a way up the scale on ZS.

Im using my netbook quite a lot lately which is only 10" as it's less pain on my neck that using the big screen.
